It has been close to two months, and yet we cannot get over the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. The self-made actor left behind a remarkable repertoire of films in a short career and will be remembered as a true-blue polymath. Since two weeks, news channels have gone into overdrive speculating about the demise of the actor, exploring various facets. There is too much of noise all around, but what is being talked about a lot is the alleged link between ex-manager Disha Salian and SSR’s death. The two were professionally connected. It seems girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty had appointed Disha Salian as his secretary some days before she passed away. Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend, Samuel Haokip, said that they knew Disha Salian from the actor’s Chhichhore days, when she was also Varun Sharma’s assistant. Disha Salian was a part of a celeb agency, Cornerstones, owned by Bunty Sajdeh.

Alleged tragic suicides
Both Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput passed away within a week of each other. Incidentally, when Disha Salian allegedly jumped off the building of her boyfriend’s apartment, there were 6-8 friends in the house. Likewise, in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, some reports claim that 5 people were present at home when his demise happened. There was no suicide note in both cases. Shock for the family
In another coincidence, Disha Salian’s family was unaware that she was suffering from depression or any kind of mental duress. In SSR’s case, his father was also unaware that his son was psychologically unwell. It came as a jolt for him, when he came to know about his son’s alleged bipolar disorder.
Post-mortem details
The autopsy reports of both individuals have been accessed by the media. In Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, by what we have seen in the press, it looks like the post-mortem was done at night. It is illegal to conduct post-mortems post 5 pm. In Disha’s case, it was done after two days as she was being checked for COVID-19.
Crucial forensic evidence missing
As per a report in Mid-Day, key forensic details in both cases are missing. The forensic surgeons reportedly did not collect nail clippings and finger swabs in the case of the actor. When it came to Disha Salian, they said that even her clothes were not sent for cross examination by forensics.
