SSR was born in 1986 exactly 40 years after I was born in 1946. SSRs father was a Central Govt Servant, so was my Father a Central Govt Servant in Port Blair, Andaman Islands.
SSR was the only son and the youngest, with four older sisters. I too am the only son and have six sisters three older and three younger.
SSR was very good at studies at School and even won the Physics Olympiad. I too was very good at studies and topped my class from 6th std to 9th std with no challengers. I loved Maths and Physics too but did not win any Olympiads but built my first crystal radio set from army scraps in 7th std and built a model submarine using a design from popular mechanics, that was tested in a pool and won me a prize. I had a box full of silver medals and merit cards and well done cards which was preserved by my mother.
My Mother was everything to me and SSR too was very attached to his mother. After SSR was only 16 when he lost his mother in 2002 & SSR lost his way in life a bit.
Sushant's father, was from what I have read, was strict and a bit of a terror and wanted SSR to be an Engineer. In my case it was a bit different. My father was extremely strict too and I was scared of him as he would pull his belt out if he got angry. Never hit me ever as my mother always shielded me. My father wanted a family of doctors. Three of my sister became doctors but my dream was to be an electronics engineer. Even though I passed the entrance exam to IIT, I did not qualify for electronics or electrical engg as all seats had been filled up by better rank holders. IIT Madras Director who had worked at Durgapur University offered me a full scholarship to study electronics at Durgapur University and I was happy and was asked to consult my parents who were outside the interview hall. I come out all excited to tell my parents I have been offered a Full scholarship including boarding and lodging and my Dad says "Building Engineering" He wanted me to build his dream house and the last thing I wanted was to study Civil Engineering. The Interview panel could not believe my decision to choose Civil Engineering as per my Dad's instruction, as I had all options open except electronics or LC as we called it "Light Current"
There are rumours that KK Singh SSR's Father married again after his mother died but denied by the Family who have confirmed that it was SSR's Uncle who remarried and not his Father.
SSR somehow managed to quit engineering in the final semester and took up dancing and acting. Think this happened after his mother died and he did not care anymore. I on the other hand completed my B Tech in Civil Engineering and did my masters specialising in Acoustics that was more physics and have had a career as an Industrial Acoustics & Noise Control in Australia.
SSR Moved from Bihar to Delhi for a better educations and I Moved from Andamans to Madras just for a better education.
SSR's career brought him from Bihar to Delhi for engg education and to Mumbai for acting.Soon after SSR settled and lived with Ankita Lokhande, his first love. I came to Sydney and within six months met Arundhuti Gupta aka Mithu (also SSR's sisters name) and knew straightaway that we were destined to spend our lives together.
For virtually three long years my mother and sisters knew very little about my life in Sydney, what I was studying what kind of odd jobs I did and knew nothing about Mithu at all.. I am sure same thing happened to SSR's Family, and this cheesed them off especially as he was making oodles of money and squandering it on luxury cars, Motor Bikes, Penthouses, Telescopes, Travel, Parties, women and drugs and alcohol.
Sons do not tell mothers and sisters everything that is going on in their lives in a new country.
Every friday and saturday there was some party or the other hosted by Syd Uni student friends and yes we all drank & smoked and chatted up women, joints (meaning Gunja) were hand rolled and lit and were passed around at every party. You took a deep puff and passed it on. Did not do anything for me so I preferred my Benson and Hedges.
Basically "SSR and I were enjoying our New Found Freedom from Family" with no one to rebuke us
This is where the similarity ends.
I married the love of my life even though my mother took three longs years to say yes. Her argument was you are the only son and should marry a telugu girl from our community and she said we know nothing about the Gupta's in Singapore plus they seem to be very well off compared to us in India. My Mother was of the opinion that a man should not marry a girl from a very rich family as she will for life be comparing her married life with her childhood. This made my mother apprehensive.
As for SSR his main anchor his mother died and he cut himself off from his father and did not even talk to him for five long years before his death.So it was a strained relationship and SSR was made to pay his father Rs 25000 every month as a retainer. Probably enforced by Sister Priyanka
I was not filthy rich but made necessary contributions for younger sisters weddings and weddings of nieces and nephews.
As for SSR until Rhea came into his life his favourite sister Priyanka was in charge of appointing his staff members as well as managing SSR's finances. It appears that every staff member in the house was under Priyanka's control including Siddarth Pithani who was an employee like all others and not SSR's Flatmate as made out in the media. This explains why Siddarth turned against Rhea and is supporting the Family in accusing Rhea of abetting SSR's suicide.
Even though we were not married we had no secrets and Mithu surely used her money and my money and credit cards etc. So I do not see the big deal about Rhea using SSR's Credit cards to pay bills as he was fully aware of it.
Once a man is in a relation ship or is married sisters have no say in how the couple manage their lives what they spend and why they spend etc etc. For the family to accuse Rhea of this and that, I am sure every mother in law and sisters in laws will accuse the brother's wives. (Cannot comment on who managed SSRs money when he was with Ankita.)
Yes Mithu fixes me a scotch at 6.00pm every night and it has become a tradition, she has bought scotch and wine and cigarettes for me even though she was a teetotaller for first 20 years of our marriage.
I agree SSR's family going after Rhea is nothing but a witch hunt. I am sure SSR had a will which would have excluded his father and may be even all his sisters as he thought they were all after his money.
SSRs life Changed totally the day Ankita left him in 2016. He then became a rudderess boat, went on a spending spree bought his Lamborghini and his Rs 55 lakh Telescope and his Penthouse. He partied like there was no tomorrow and like it or not he was a ladies man...plus he was a successful Movie star and every wannabe actress was throwing herself at him, something SSR confessed he could not handle after Ankita left him
So in many ways I am able to relate to SSR's life and am trying to get into his shoes to see what happened and why he died..
My Gut feel is that someone was blackmailing him and he was ADRAID in Capitals. He had become a superstar over night only because "Doni" himself chose SSR to act as Dhoni.
The question is who was not happy with SSR's success and associated wealth and fame ? Only people close to SSR Know
Had he tread on any toes or many toes ?
Why did SSR refuse to act in Mahesh Bhat's Sadak 2, which has become a huge flop now ?
Why did SSR who had no work in 2020 decline an offer of Rs 6 Crores to act in a movie directed by ??? and put forward to SSR by Jaya Saha and why did he demand Rs 12 cores? Does not make sense

As a warning the Black mailers tossed his secretary over the balcony from 14th Floor to show they mean business. The Minute that happened ( Meaning Dishas death) SSR realised OMG the bastards are going to come after me now. He was Panicking and paranoid. He wanted to call a Press meeting but his blackmailers got to him before that and finished him off.
Baddies when they want to hurt a man and make him obey, hurt him where it hurts most which is to hurt people he loves or is close to.
SSR probably thought the killers would hurt Rhea so asked her to leave him and go to her parents. ( May be he explained m,ay be he did not) The Black mailers said "Oh yeah we will show you what we are capable off and tossed Disha over the balcony. "Poor Disha was an innocent victim".
Disha's death in many ways appears similar to Sree Devi's Death and Sashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar's death.
In all three cases the main goal was to hurt and ruin the men the ladies were linked to; Sree Devi's husband who was in serious debt, Sashi Tharoor who was becoming more and more voiciferous and powerful in Congress Party and SSR who became very famous and rich in a short span of time
I also feel all SSR's Staff members are being investigated and victimised by Police and CBI investigators. We have to understand this is India and servants and employees don't ask questions; "Do what the Boss says". If he says get me Drugs they do whatever they can or else get the boot.
Even Ankita left SSR and she should be the one drilled by CBI to find out why she dumped him. I don't think she felt insecure,as she claims. She just could not handle "a Changed SSR". He was getting drunk and misbehaving at parties. He was not the man he was six years prior, simple and sweet.
''Plus if he was Bi-Polar he would have had extreme highs and lows driving his partner Ankita crazy. Ankita knows everything and if she really loved SSR she would tell the truth and not sit back and watch Rhea being treated like a Criminal. The Poor girl left him on 8th June and was nowhere near SSR until 14th June when he was found dead. SSR's sister Mithu was with him 24/7 from 8th June to 13th June. She knows a lot more than what she has let out so far. It can be argued that Mithu had abetted SSRs suicide ( Not that she did it but for arguments sake if Rhea did it so could his sister Mithu)
